a four night, first-of-its-kind immersive experience inspired by the folklore + magic of the Ozarks
MADSTONE
noun; in Ozark + Appalachian folk tradition, the calcified mass of a wild animal’s stomach is believed to hold the power to cure rabies
crystals + tarot reading
live performances
art installations
drinks by Pinpoint
DIY mask building
a novel seasonal event inspired by the ancient + enchanted land we call home
each night features different elements;
come for one or all four 🔮
We’re transforming over 10,000 SF of warehouse space into an otherworldly forest wonderland. Step into a mystical labyrinth where an immersive artist installation waits around every turn. Hear live readings of Ozark folk magic + true southern tales. Watch local films, live music, & movement. Find handcrafted art, goods, crystals, & oddities from local makers + shops.
20+ artists will compete in building their own installation within the maze for guests to discover along the way. You’ll emerge from the labyrinth into a clearing built for the strange + social: tarot readings, themed mocktails by Pinpoint, mask building stations, & more. And of course, costumes are highly encouraged.
Artist Prize
Each night as guests find their way out of the maze, they’ll have a chance to vote for their favorite artist display within it. First place will win a cash prize of $250, a 2 week reservation in Likewise’s creative studio [valued at over $7000], & a gift card from our friends at iRiS Art Haus.
Be on the lookout as we announce more collaborator contributions! We’re taking rolling submissions — the sooner you apply, the sooner we can let you know if you’re in & can start scheming 🧠✨
