Take a breath with us.

It’s been a whirlwind, and we’re each being affected in different, important, difficult ways. This is a time for us to respond, informed and with empathy, to the current needs in our community. For most of us, this means staying home. Amidst this disruption in our global society, we have a responsibility to do our part in slowing the spread of COVID-19.

Don't Panic!

The Comprehensive Ars Technica Guide to the Coronavirus [Updated Daily]

This is not a time to join the panic culture — it’s a time to work together for the wellness of those around us.

Our heart is & always will be to create a space where everyone feels safe to meet, share, learn, & grow — together.

However, while we’re building this brilliant & diverse neighborhood that values connection & community, we’re faced with a responsibility to distance ourselves for the wellness of all.

We’ll navigate this new territory together as well.

Likewise is implementing the following policies to best serve our community:

1

All Events Postponed

All events through April will be postponed, but stay tuned, as many of these will be rescheduled for a later date, or streamed digitally. We are using this time to explore online programming to keep you connected during the practice of social distancing — even "remote coworking"!
2

No Drop-Ins

We are not taking drop-in coworkers at this time, BUT if you are in a position where you cannot work from home, let us know. We can still accommodate a certain number of workers and remain within safe CDC recommended distances.
3

Work from Home

All members are encouraged to work from home if possible. Though you still have 24/7 access, it's the most cautious practice at this time. Even if you are not displaying symptoms of the virus, you might still be a carrier, putting others at risk. Notify a community manager through Slack if anyone is visiting from outside your team.
4

Limit Non-Essential Visitors

Wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds after any contact with others, with shared surfaces, or with your face. Our team is taking extra care to clean doorknobs, handles, restrooms, tables, chairs, and any other shared surfaces or resources, however we can only ensure the safest space with your help. Our staff will be working limited hours during this time, so we look to members to help as much as possible in keeping our space as risk-free as possible. You can find sanitizing areas throughout the building.
5

Keep Meetings Small

Meeting rooms will be limited to no more than 5 people at a time. Let us know if we can accommodate you, or reserve online. If a meeting room is not absolutely needed right now, please postpone until further notice.
6

Monitor Your Temperature

If you have the ability, it is important to do this regularly — even if you don't have symptoms! This can be transmitted to vulnerable others before your first symptoms are present. If you feel any symptoms of illness, stay home!

Don’t be afraid to let someone know if you have been directly or indirectly exposed to anyone with COVID-19, its symptoms, or its hotspot regions.

Stay calm

We're all in this together.

Let's keep one another safe with wellness practices that are in the best interest of all — open communication, asking for help when help is needed, and following the advice of health professionals and the CDC.

Donations

Many people in NWA are in need during this time of crisis. We've listed a few resources below that are taking donations for items, food, and blood drives. Likewise is also taking donations if that is more convenient for you. If you have a surplus of any high demand items and would like to donate to those in our area in need, drive through + drop off in the garage / studio level at 70 N College Ave. We'll collect, sanitize, and distribute with the organizations who are assisting.
